Scott’s words to live by are, “Walk humbly, act justly, love mercy.” “You can be the smartest person in the room, but pride undermines teamwork, sabotages outcomes, and sees the world as a zero-sum game,” he said.
Away from work, Scott and his wife spend most of their time being parents of two active small children. Plus, they have a large fruit and vegetable garden they tend with the enthusiastic help of their kids. And, when he can, Scott likes to ride his bike.
