Nate is a certified project management professional. His specific expertise is organizational growth strategies and change initiatives. He supports and propels his projects forward with systems thinking, human-centered design and lean principles. His FarWell clients have learned to appreciate how Nate builds relationships with both leaders and employees and assembles teams to deliver successful business outcomes via organizational change initiatives.

His pre-FarWell work roles gave him the tools, skills and experience to provide valuable project support to his current clients. These are some of the real-world projects he has under his belt.

  • Designed and initiated a materials management optimization program.
  • Led change management support for company-wide data and analytics program
  • Designed, developed, and delivered communications and training programs.
  • Created organizational change risk mitigation plans for various projects to ease the impact of change on employees.
  • Created processes to capture and use change readiness data to ensure successful system adoption

Nathan earned his BBA in Human Resources and Management from the UW-Madison. He also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. In addition, he is a founding organizer of Change Geeks and is a contributor to the planning and organization of CultureCon events.

Nathan’s number one life rule is “people first.” “No matter what you’re trying to accomplish, always focus on the people first,” he said. “When you create the right environment for people to thrive, the results will follow.”

Travel is his favorite off-work activity. He says he loves every part of it, from the initial trip planning to sitting in the concourse waiting for the flight home. Most of his travel adventures to date have been in Europe. However, he plans to explore Asia and Africa next.
