John Manzer

John is a consummate senior-level change manager. He puts his team first, communicates clearly, and ensures change efforts are achieved with the participation of impacted employees, not overlaid on top of them.

John earned his BA Degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He has also had Strategic Leadership Immersion training.

In terms of life philosophy, he builds his based on the words on the back cover of the final issue of the Whole Earth Catalog: “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” For John, “stay hungry” means always take opportunities to learn, meet new people, and improve himself. And he says, “stay foolish” means take chances, fail quickly and learn, take the road less traveled, and pursue the solution less obvious.

Away from work, John is a bit of an exercise buff. He works out daily, and he either runs, bikes, or lifts weights. Otherwise, he and his wife Shannon love to travel. They prefer to go to warmer destinations during the cold Wisconsin winter months. And in the Summer, they enjoy regular dinners at one of the many traditional supper club restaurants in central and northern Wisconsin.
