Throughout Nick’s professional career, he’s always been a utility player, or as Nick will tell you, “I’ve been underqualified for every job I’ve had.” This is where he thrives. Hired as FarWell’s third employee, Nick’s attention has always been placed on helping FarWell achieve its highest strategic objectives. These objectives have put Nick in roles that have extended through, Marketing, Operations, and Client Solutions. More recently, Nick has helped FarWell formalize our Employee Experience, creating the foundational framework, processes, and systems to help our team members thrive personally and professionally. This work comes easily because Nick exudes the natural talents necessary to cultivate feelings of belonging and provide fuel for personal growth.
In addition to FarWell, Nick has held leadership roles at several organizations. His biggest strength is to align people, process, and technology to tackle complex, human-focused initiatives. This skillset, combined with his entrepreneurial mentality, led Nick to co-found organizations including CultureCon and Change Geeks.
He’s a member of the Edgewood College Alumni Board and School of Business Board and is a past Marketing Chair and President of the Madison Area Down Syndrome Society and Madison Area Connectors, respectively. In 2017, Nick was named to In Business Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” Nick is also a two-time nominee for Madison Magnet’s “Wisconsin Young Professional Award.”
Nick’s quote to live by is, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives,” by Annie Dillard.
Nick received his MBA from Edgewood College in Madison and also holds a BS in Business Marketing.
At home, Nick likes to cook for his friends and family, brew coffee, play board games and collect records. (He’s partial to soul music.) He is an avid cribbage player and has logged over five years of games against FarWell coworker Steve McQuin. Nick is currently winning.
