Jon is the guy to talk to when you want an experienced project leader who can stay calm, manage complex projects, and deliver the desired results. At the strategic level, he can streamline execution, identify inefficiencies and develop smart ways to reduce or eliminate them. Jon communicates clearly and strives to build strong relationships with team members and organizational leaders.
His broad experience ranges from military aviation to business operations to biotechnology to food science. Not surprisingly, it’s enabled him to pick up a solid list of business skills.
Jon earned his BS degree in Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and he picked up an MS degree in Food Science from The University of Wisconsin – Madison. He has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of Wisconsin and he’s certified as a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) and Project Management Professional (PMP.)
His personal philosophy of life can be summed up as “Control the controllable.” It’s good advice, as is the related concept: don’t let what you can’t influence steal your focus from things you can.
Away from work, Jon packs his time as full as possible. When the weather’s nice, he likes to hike, camp, kayak and sail. Indoors, he likes to cook, entertain and hone his amateur bartending skills. And, when there isn’t a pandemic to contend with, he travels, always seeking to experience a new local culture and sample a new ethnic cuisine.
