Joe is an experienced, highly respected IT project manager. His broad experience has given him the skill to develop and lead high-performing project teams. The teams have been single site, multi-site, domestic, off shore, virtual, and in person. And sometimes they’ve been a combination of all the above! Regardless of team structure, he can turn high-level strategy into realistic, executable project plans. Joe also knows the value of honest and open communication and productive feedback.
As you would expect, Joe’s experience has equipped him with lots of useful business skills.
Joe earned his BBA degree in Finance, and he has an MBA in Finance and Decision Support Systems, both from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. He’s also a Project Management Professional (PMP,) a Certified Scrum Master (CSM,) and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
His life philosophy is to treat people right and get to know them personally. “It makes work more fun, and everyone wants the team to succeed,” Joe said. “This approach works especially well on cross-functional multi-location teams. Everyone feels a sense of shared ownership for the project outcomes.”
Joe focuses 100% of his time outside of work on his family. And in addition the normal family activities, Joe also loves to coach youth hockey. When time permits, anyway.
