We provided a team of Senior Program and Project Managers to manage the risk, change, and communication related to the program. This included a Program Governance Plan, Communication Plan, and documented change control processes. In addition to the plans and processes put into place, we provided an executive level Project Scorecard, which gave project snapshots, highlighted risks and issues requiring action, and informed stakeholders of recent accomplishments. We also delivered Executive level progress reports and conducted regular Steering Committee meetings.
A program of this size (over 100,000 hours of Application Development) requires executive communication, advanced risk and issue tracking, integrated schedule management, and extensive change management. The size of this contract required program management expertise not normally found on staff.
The client is better situated to successfully deliver the program on-time, per the contract demands. They have visibility into the issues, risks, and overall status of the program.
