For the 6th consecutive year, FarWell made the Inc. 5000 list for America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies. The entire FarWell team extends their appreciation to the businesses who trusted us to navigate business change together in 2021.

For 40 years, Inc. Magazine has recognized the fastest growing companies of approximately 6 million privately held organizations in the US, and only a select few have been awarded this honor 6 years in a row.

Independent businesses navigated ups-and-downs again in 2021.

The 5,000 companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list not only grew their businesses at a rapid pace, they also demonstrated remarkable change resilience. In 2021, organizations navigated supply chain issues, labor shortages, and ongoing impacts of Covid-19. Despite these challenges, the companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list together had a median growth rate of 230% and a total revenue of 317.6 billion dollars. This new business added 1,179,282 jobs to the economy.

From 2018 to 2021, FarWell focused on client acquisition, seeking new talent, and diversifying the breadth of industries we collaborate with. Over this period, FarWell achieved 89% revenue growth.

To further reduce financial risk, FarWell decreased revenue concentration. At the end of 2021, the number of clients who generated 80% of revenue scaled up by 333%. The organization’s advisor talent also grew over that period, up 127%, strengthening FarWell capabilities. Increased revenue, client growth, industry diversification, and new talent position FarWell for long-term business sustainability.
